  DIY Magazine Rack, 2012

  Supplies: Button, Nail & Twine

  Tools: Hammer & Scissors

  Step 1 - Cut a length of string that is longer than the height of a magazine.

  Step 2 - Thread the string through the button and make a knot.

  Step 3 - Hammer the nail into the wall at a slight angle.

  Step 4 - Tie the string to the nail and knot it tightly.

  Thread the string through the magazine like a bookmark.  All done.

  Finally posting the finished image of that sketch from this past Spring.  Trying to capture a drearily beautiful day.  It was interesting that the light was constantly changing as the weather systems cycled through.

  These four paintings were also selected by the BOX11 curatorial team.

  A big thank you to the over 1300 people who visited the BOX11 show this past weekend.  I had some great conversations with the guests and other excellent artists in the exhibition.  Thanks also goes out to the amazing team that put the event together.
